Smokie had a very successful tour of
South Africa comprising 16 concerts in less than three weeks during
2004. This took place at the end of February and the beginning of
March and was a perfect time to escape the cold weather in Europe.
The
first two concerts were at Carnival City near Johannesburg.
There were plenty of fans wanting autographs.

There was a good party after the show ...
... which continues ...
... well into the night.
Lots of people want their photograph taking with Terry ...
Outside the hotel in Pretoria
In Port Elizabeth Smokie's mini-bus was stolen - this is where it had been parked!.
At least they left the sponsored truck with the gear in it!
Outside the hotel in Cape Town with the chauffeured cars waiting to go to a TV interview.
More photos.
The gigs were a huge success.
There were always plenty of fans wanting autographs.
Getting ready to leave Cape Town for the flight to Jo'burgh. (Mike looks happy but he won't be when he gets to the airport. His passport is still in his room!)

And Sunette Bridges (their other support act) wants to take Martin home as her luggage!
We had to show you this as Mick was so proud of the new diver's watch he had just bought!
